Surfing Level Required

Our Mozambique Surf Adventure is open to all levels—from total beginners to experienced surfers. While some points like Tofinho and Pomene offer heavier waves ideal for more advanced surfers, there are mellow and friendly breaks in Ponta do Ouro and Tofo perfect for learning. Each surfer is guided to the best spot for their level, with lessons available at all suitable breaks.

How to Get There

Arrival Airport: Maputo International Airport (MPM), Mozambique
We handle all transport from the airport. You'll be picked up by the Kora team and begin the journey south to the surf coast.
Note: If arriving early or needing extra nights in Maputo before or after the trip, we can assist with arrangements.

Guided snorkel trip in Tofo (weather dependent)

Dune walk and exploration in Pomene

Mozambique Health & Visa Guide for Tourists

Mozambique is a tropical destination, so a few precautions will ensure a smooth and healthy trip.

Vaccinations: Recommended vaccines include Hepatitis A & B, Typhoid, and Tetanus. Yellow Fever is required if arriving from an endemic country.
Malaria: Mozambique is a malaria zone—take antimalarial medication and use mosquito repellent, especially at night.
Water & Food: Stick to bottled or filtered water and be mindful of street food hygiene.
Medical Care: Basic medical facilities are available, but for serious issues, private clinics in Maputo or South Africa are better options. Travel insurance with medical coverage is strongly recommended.

Visa Requirements

Visa on Arrival: Available at major airports and land borders for most nationalities. Cost: $50 USD for a 30-day tourist visa (single entry).
E-Visa: Some travelers can apply online before arrival for a smoother process.
Extensions: Can be extended once in Mozambique for an additional 30 days.

Other Entry Requirements

Passport: Must be valid for at least 6 months with at least two blank pages.
Proof of Accommodation & Funds: Immigration may ask for proof of stay and sufficient funds.
